SppC based energy frontier lepton-proton colliders: luminosity and physics

In this study, main parameters of Super proton-proton Collider (SppC) based lepton-proton colliders are estimated. For electron beam parameters, highest energy International Linear Collider (ILC) and Plasma Wake Field Accelerator-Linear Collider (PWFA-LC) options are taken into account. For muon beams, 1.5 TeV and 3 TeV center of mass energy Muon Collider parameters are used. In addition, ultimate $\mu$p collider which assumes construction of additional 50 TeV muon ring in the SppC tunnel is considered as well. It is shown that $L_{ep}$ $\sim$ $10^{32}$ $cm^{-2}s^{-1}$ can be achieved with moderate upgrade of the SppC proton beam parameters. Physics search potential of proposed lepton-proton colliders is illustrated by considering small Bjorken x region as an example of SM physics and resonant production of color octet leptons as an example of BSM physics.Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, 8 table

Modeling toothpaste brand choice: An empirical comparison of artificial neural networks and multinomial probit model

To do this, based on 2597 toothpaste purchases of a panel sample of 404 households, choice models are built and their performances are compared on the 861 purchases of a test sample of 135 households. Results show that ANN's predictions are better while MNP is useful in providing marketing insight

Representasi Homoseksual Dalam Film the Imitation Game

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi homoseksual di dalam film The Imitation Game. Film The Imitation Game mencoba mematahkan stereotipe negatif homoseksual di media massa dengan penggambaran positif. Homoseksual digambarkan secara positif dan berusaha mendobrak stereotipe negatif yang sudah melekat di media massa dan di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode semiotika dan dilihat melalui kode-kode kode televisi John Fiske. Tiga level yang dilihat melalui kode-kode televisi yaitu level realitas, level representasi dan level ideologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa homoseksual dalam Film The Imitation Game digambarkan sebagai pahlawan yang berjasa atas kemenangan Inggris di Perang Dunia II. Meskipun homoseksual digambarkan secara positif yaitu sebagai pahlawan, terdapat beberapa stereotipe negatif tentang homoseksual yang masih terlihat di dalam film ini seperti memiliki sisi feminin, suka menyendiri, takut untuk menunjukkan orientasi seksualnya, tidak diterima di masyarakat, sulit bersosialisasi dan merupakan minoritas dibandingkan homoseksual
